On 24th November 2018, AFMY’s representatives performed a visit to Muhammadiyah Association of Singapore, with the purpose of strengthening Islamic brotherhood and networking between AFMY and the Muhammadiyah Organization.
AFMY’ delegation consist of Dr Abdul Muntaqim Abu Bakar (AFMY’s Secretary General) and Ustaz Muhammad Azri Azman (AFMY Finance Secretary). They were welcomed by Ustaz Shaik Hussain Shaik Yacob (President Muhammadiyah) and Mr Mohamed Ghazali b Alistar.
Discussion regarding various issues related to the Muslim Ummah was made during this meeting. This meeting was also held to invite Muhammadiyah representatives to the 2nd Asian Muslim Youth Leadership Summit and 9th AFMY’s Annual General Meeting, scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur on December 2018.
