One of the recent natural disaster which affected the South East Asian region was the earthquake that struck Lombok and Bali, Indonesia on August 5th, 2018. The 6.9 scale Richter magnitude earthquake took the lives of 555 people, injuring 1300 and leaving at least 353,000 people homeless.

In line with the spirit of humanity and Islamic Brotherhood, the organisations Asian Federation of Muslim Youth (AFMY), Amirul Ummah Foundation and International Muslim Business Network (IMBNet) together with Kesatuan Aksi Mahasiswa Muslim Indonesia (KAMMI) have come together to rebuild a mosque at Lombok, Indonesia which had been destroyed by the earthquake.

Financial contributions and manpower assistance mainly by the Muslim community of Indonesia and Malaysia have been delivered to the local community in Lombok for the construction of this mosque. Further contributions are needed to complete the project. Thus we are inviting the generous donor to contribute to this worthy cause.
