THE NEWLY ELECTED EXCO OF AFMY GATHERS FOR PLANNING RETREAT 2018/2021

Alhamdhulillah the newly elected executive committee of Asian Federation of Muslim Youth (AFMY) had their retreat for planning the upcoming term 2018/2021.

The planning retreat was held from the 16th – 17th of February, 2019 at the University Technology Malaysia (UTM), Kuala Lumpur.

The retreat included an intensive introduction and discussion about the current status of AFMY by the president Dr. Abdul Muntaqim Abu Bakr. The discussion was followed by a two days brainstorming and planning session on how to support the vision of AFMY.

The Vision of AFMY
“To be a dynamic, relevant and unifying youth organization in Asia that contributes to the betterment of the Muslim youth population”

ExCo members from Malaysia, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Yemen participated directly in this retreat and members from Indonesia and Pakistan joined via online video conferencing.

The retreat consisted of strategic as well as operational planning for the upcoming term of AFMY as well as the roadmap of International Muslim Business Network IMBNet).

The ExCo of AFMY humbly expect the support and assistance of its senior members, member organizations and well-wishers for successfully achieving the vision.
