Alhamdulillah, all praise be to Allah SWT for His blessings and peace be upon the Prophet Muhammad SAW, his family members, his companions, tabi’in, tabi ‘at-tabi’in and to all who follow them with kindness until the Day of Judgment.
1.65 Billion Muslims worldwide make up 23.5% of the earth’s population need to do reform and subsequently strive for victory! That is the conclusion that can be made by myself from the gathering here, attended by Muslim Youth – Men and Women. We need to work in the fields of jihad, da’wah, tarbiyah, education, economy and politics, with the full confidence that the future is for Islam.
Alhamdulillah, for 2 days I attended the 8th Asian Federation of Muslim Youth (AFMY) Annual General Meeting & 1st Asian Muslim Youth Leadership Ijtima’ in Sepang, Selangor Darul Ehsan, 13-14 Rabi’ul Awwal 1437H = 25-26 December 2017. The medium scale event with high impact outcomes in shaa Allah, by sessions of presentations, roundtable discussions and the Kuala Lumpur Declaration 2015 resolution agreed by delegates from Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Thailand, Philippines, Bangladesh, Pakistan and Yemen as well as observers from Nigeria.
Various interesting discussions organised in the Ijtima’, starting with inspiring Opening Remarks by Dr. Ahmad Samsuri Mokhtar (Political Secretary of PAS President / Vice President of the International Union of Muslim Scholars) and concluded with a thoughtful Closing Speech by YB Dr. Hjh Halimah Ali (Selat Kelang Assemblyman and former EXCO Members of Selangor State Government).
