Congratulations to Gabungan Mahasiswa Islam Se-Malaysia (GAMIS) for successfully organizing the 1st International Muslim Student Convention (IMSEC) 2019 on 1st November 2019. With AFMY as co organizer, collaborating with IIUM and State Government of Terengganu.

Opening Ceremony By AFMY’s President, Dr Abdul Muntaqim

The opening ceremony was officiated by AFMY President, Dr Abdul Muntaqim Abu Bakar. AFMY’s Central Commitee Member, Bro Faisal Javid was involved in lecturing as well as forum regarding Kasymir Issue.

Discussion on the issue of Islamophobia is vey much crucial with recent gun shooting and bombing incidents at New Zealand and Sri Lanka respectively. As well as the latest development of ISIS/ISIL, with US is exploiting so called the death’ of Abu Bakar Al Baghdadi.

With the theme of “Moving Students in Tackling Islamophobia”, hopefully the objectives of this conference will be materialized, and appropriate actions will be taken based on resolutions that had been made.
